1. Print on white cardstock - not a colored stock.

  2. Use paper stock no thinner than 80lb.

  3. When picking laser paper over gloss go with laser.

  4. Be sure to have thoroughly proofread your file before printing (consider having multiple eyes proofread it for you!)

  5. Print a single sample first before large quantities to be sure you are happy with the results.

  6. To save time and hassle have your printing facility trim your stationery for you!  (if you decide to do it at home use a paper cutter!)

  7. When in doubt go into the store in person first and get a feel for the paper when choosing paper type.

  8. When folding, score first, then fold.

  9. If your design has ONLY black ink be sure to select that option when placing your order because it will be cheaper than if you print with colored ink.

  10. If you prefer thicker or more unique finish papers (linen, shimmer etc) see if your printing facility will let you provide your own paper for them to print on instead of the standard papers they offer.
